Adam Krukas, PharmD
Clinical Informatics Scientist
Adam is a clinical informatics scientist for the MedStar Health National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare and a clinical pharmacist with MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center. Adam provides expert support for various projects at the Center and on systemwide committees, including medication use, health information technology (health IT) usability, patient safety, healthcare quality, and clinician cognitive workload. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science in health informatics and graduate certificate in healthcare quality and safety from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He enjoys spending time with his dog, cat, and family, as well as traveling and cooking.
